On 20 September 2016, International Registries, Inc.’s (IRI’s) Hamburg office hosted its first in-house workshop for local tanker operating clients. The workshop was led by Mark Rijsdijk, Safety & Technical Manager, IRI Roosendaal and concentrated on tanker specific topics including blending of cargoes, slop handling, oil record book handling, and regulatory updates.
The workshop facilitated excellent interaction and exchange between the tanker owner / operator representatives and also with the IRI Hamburg team. Future workshops on dedicated topics are being planned.
