International Registries, Inc. (IRI) sponsored the Blue Tee Golf Tournament for the second year running which took place on 24 September at the Dunes Course of Costa Navarino in the southwest Peloponnese area of Greece.
Dozens of leading members of the shipping community in Greece and from abroad displayed their passion for golf, playing a very enjoyable tournament in excellent weather conditions. Twenty teams competed over 18 holes for prizes that included the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin.
A prize giving ceremony and cocktails followed the tournament, and later on 120 tournament golfers and guests sat down to dinner at Flame Restaurant, overlooking the Costa Navarino countryside. An excellent time was had by all.
