As a corporate service company, IRI cannot provide formal legal advice. However, it can provide information and guidance on forming business entities; preparing amendments, dissolutions, and other filings; answer questions regarding the RMI Associations Law and vessel and yacht registration; and review draft corporate documentation. IRI can also assist clients in obtaining a legal opinion from a licensed RMI attorney.

Legal Opinions from Licensed RMI Attorneys

Qualified attorneys are licensed to practice law in the RMI and are available to provide legal opinions on transactions such as:

• Bank accounts
• Corporate capacity
• Guarantees and pledges
• Real estate property transfers
• Vessel registration, including those under construction
• Vessel mortgage recordation
• Financing mechanisms
