Pierre-Jean Person

Mr. Person joined IRI’s London office in July 2014 as a Flag State Inspector and transferred to the Roosendaal office in August 2019. Prior to joining IRI, Mr. Person was a Gas Officer and then Chief Officer for BW Gas in Oslo, Norway where he was responsible for cargo system handling; supervision, maintenance, and repair; organization and supervision of loading and discharging operations; risk assessment and management; team management; crew and officers’ training; and safety, security, and maritime environment protection organization and training. Mr. Person holds a dual ticket (Deck & Engine) Unlimited Officer - All vessels having attained his engineer and deck officer qualifications from the National Maritime College of France in Le Havre, France and a Master’s degree from the Institute of Economics and Business Administration in Nantes, France.
