Ionna Hernandez

Ms. Hernandez joined IRI’s Ft. Lauderdale office in October 2014 as Business Development Manager, Yachts. Prior to joining IRI, Ms. Hernandez assisted in ensuring yachts and crew were in compliance with international conventions and statutory regulations as the Vessel Support Coordinator at Megayacht Technical Services International, a regulatory management company. Additionally, Ms. Hernandez served for four years as a Registration and Documentation Specialist at Yacht Registry Services, Inc. where she prepared closing and registration documents for yacht transactions and worked closely with numerous maritime administrations to complete vessel registrations. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Nova Southeastern University and is proud to have sailed around the world as an Alumna of the Semester at Sea program. She is an active member of the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA), Young Professionals in Yachting (YPY), the U.S. Superyacht Association (USSA), and the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA).
