Captain John Hafner

Captain Hafner was promoted to Vice President, Seafarers’ Manning & Training in July 2013. Joining International Registries, Inc.’s Ft. Lauderdale office as Seafarers’ Manning & Training Manager in July 2010, Captain Hafner brings over 25 years of maritime experience, most recently as a National Executive Board Member for American Maritime Officers (AMO). Prior to AMO, Captain Hafner sailed as a Master for American Roll-on Roll-off Carriers and also served in the United States Naval Reserve for 30 years, retiring with the rank of Captain in 2016. He received his Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation Management at the State University of New York Maritime College.
