Mr. John Xenakoudis and Mr. Panagiotis Laskaridis
The Efkranti Awards, organized by Naftika Chronika Shipping Journal, were given for the 10th consecutive year at the Aikaterini Laskaridi Foundation.
On Wednesday, 9 May 2018, in the library room of the Aikaterini Laskaridi Foundation, leaders and friends from the Greek shipping community gathered for another year to honor the winners who were elected by the judgment committee of the awards. During the ceremony, eight awards were given to significant and influential members of the Greek shipping industry. Mr. John Xenakoudis, Seafarers’ Documentation Officer, International Registries, Inc. (IRI), gave the award of “Total Offer in Shipping” to Mr. Panagiotis Laskaridis, CEO of Laskaridis Shipping Co. Ltd. and Lavinia Corp., for his long-term contribution to shipping and society. This is IRI’s 4th annual sponsorship of the Efkranti Awards. IRI was awarded the ceremony’s “Best Strategic Communication”prize in 2011.
