CSG Meets in Reston

23 March 2026

Focused on strengthening its ‘One Team’ culture, IRI’s Corporate Services Group (CSG) held its annual meeting at IRI’s Reston headquarters in March 2026. The CSG, formalized in 2019, is a cooperative group of corporate team members from across the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Registry’s 28 worldwide offices, as well as from key departments that support or work in tandem with the RMI Corporate Registry.

The group meets for an annual general meeting to discuss Registry updates, compliance and reporting changes, corporate initiatives, best practices, as well as broader industry trends and market conditions.

Denise Francis, Senior Vice President, Corporate welcomed participants before senior leaders provided updates on the RMI Corporate Registry, digitalization projects, legal updates, and internal operational and development trends. Regional business development presentations offered insight into best practices in key corporate hubs and highlighted opportunities for growth and resource alignment. Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director- Piraeus Office Theo Xenakoudis discussed goals and activities for the year ahead, including new initiatives.

Team members from Fort Lauderdale, Geneva, Istanbul, London, Long Beach, Majuro, New York, Piraeus, Reston, Shanghai, Singapore, Vancouver, and Zurich were present. Although the Dubai office could not be represented in person due to geopolitical circumstances, the office recently expanded to offer full corporate services, representing increased access for clients in the Middle East. Over the years, CSG’s annual meetings have resulted in numerous client-focused initiatives, including the development of digital portals, solutions to streamline business processes and reporting, as well as new payment and documentation platforms. One of the most recent client-focused initiatives, electronic certificates of good standing that are digitally verifiable, was launched in the second quarter of 2025 as a result of strategic discussions from previous CSG meetings.
