The Piraeus office was pleased to host the 7th Annual Regional Technical Meeting with the Classification Societies at the Yacht Club of Greece on 21 March 2019. Executives and representatives from the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) based in Greece attended the meeting. The meeting focused on issues emanating from the latest amendments to the Ballast Water Management Convention, Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Data Collection System, and the Use of Remote Inspection Techniques for surveys. Such discussions contribute to the strength and quality of the industry.
