Republic of the Marshall Islands Registry personnel attended the Springfield Shipping Officers Forum held on 9 November 2018 in Athens, Greece.
Seminar attendees consisted of about 40 senior officers, including Masters, Chief Officers, Chief Engineers, and Second Engineers.
Capt John Sideris and Capt Theodore Lalas, International Registries, Inc. (IRI), presented to the group on the topic of port State control (PSC) inspections and the role of the flag State, as well as on how to avoid or rectify common deficiencies.
