Yacht-TechCirc-3-Rev. 1 Aviation Inspection Body and Recognized Organization Responsibility Matrix for Certification of Helicopter Landing Areas UPDATED 09/2015
  This Yacht Technical Circular outlines the scope of shared responsibilities between a Recognized Organization (RO) and an Aviation Inspection Body (AIB) in regards to plan reviews, surveys and certification of helicopter landing areas (HLAs) on Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) flagged yachts.

Yacht-TechCirc-4 Examination of a Yacht’s Hull and Related Items NEW 06/2015
  This Yacht Technical Circular outlines the general requirements and scope of survey to comply with the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Yacht Code (MI-103) requirement that unclassed PYLCs and unclassed CYs shall have the outside of the yacht’s hull and related items examined in accordance with the rules of a Classification Society (Recognized Organization (RO)). This examination shall be attended by an Appointed Representative (AR).
Yacht-TechCirc-5 Procedures for the Transfer of Services from One Appointed Representative to Another Appointed Representative NEW 05/2016
  This circular outlines the procedures for the transfer of statutory services and Compliance Verifications from one Appointed Representative (AR) (i.e. losing AR) to another AR (i.e. gaining AR). The procedure is applicable regardless of whether the Certification is mandatory or voluntary.
Yacht-TechCirc-6 Amendment to the Issuance of the National Yacht Record of Safety Equipment NEW 08/2016
  Following an internal consultation between the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Maritime Administrator (the “Administrator”) and its Appointed Representatives (ARs), it has been decided that the National Yacht Record of Safety Equipment (RMI Form MI-289 (Form E)) need not be issued to yachts in certain circumstances.

This Yacht Technical Circular serves as a temporary amendment until revision of other documents referencing the subject.

  The International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), Chapter II-1/19 requires vessels to which SOLAS applies to maintain a Damage Control Plan and a Damage Control Booklet.

This Yacht Technical Circular provides the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Maritime Administrator’s policy on damage control information onboard RMI-flagged yachts.
Yacht-TechCirc-8 Long-Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) - Yachts NEW 11/2018
  This Circular emphasizes the requirements for the carriage and operation of LRIT systems on Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI)-flagged yachts. It must be read in conjunction with RMI Marine Notice 2-011-25, Long-Range Identification and Tracking of Ships, with particular attention paid to §8.6 and §10.0 of that Notice.
